Landscape Editing Workshop
Most landscape RAW files look flat, dark, or disappointing when you first open them.
That does not always mean the photograph failed.
Learn how I turn flat RAW files into finished landscape photographs with mood, depth, light, colour, and atmosphere.
Finishing a photograph is learnable.

RAW File → Finished Photograph
A RAW file is not the finished photograph. It is the material you use to finish one.
A RAW file holds far more than what you see on screen.
The flat preview is not the finished photograph. It is the starting point.
There is detail in the shadows, separation in the sky, and atmosphere still waiting to be shaped.
A camera records light. It does not record mood.
Inside the workshop, you’ll see how I edit this exact raw file from start to finish, bringing the photograph closer to the way the scene felt through light shaping, colour control, tonal direction, exposure blending, and final refinements.
This is where the photograph becomes finished.
The Tools Are Only The Beginning
A lot of photographers already know the basic Lightroom tools.
The missing layer is learning how to use them together to shape a finished photograph with intention.
When I edit a landscape, I’m not trying to make it look dramatic for the sake of it. I’m trying to get back to what made me stop in the first place.
I think most of us feel the depth, mood, and atmosphere of a place when we’re standing there.
The hard part is bringing that feeling out of the file.
That is where the techniques matter.
Inside the workshop, you’ll see how I shape light, control contrast, balance colour, guide the eye, blend exposures, and bring more mood into the final image.
These are not random slider movements. They are repeatable editing techniques you can understand, practise, and apply to your own photographs.
Not just which tools I use.
How I use them and why.

Frequently Asked Questions
What software is used in this workshop?
Lightroom and Photoshop are used throughout the workshop.
You’ll see the panels, sliders, masks, layers, blending techniques, and tools I use as I work through each edit.
Do I need to be an experienced editor to follow this?
No.
You should have a basic familiarity with Lightroom, but the workshop includes a Lightroom basics section to help you follow the edits more easily.
This is not an advanced-only workshop. It is for photographers who want their landscape images to feel more atmospheric, intentional, and finished.
Are RAW files included?
Yes.
The RAW files for the seven workshop images are included and available to download if you want to follow along step by step.
You do not have to use them. The real value is understanding the process, decisions, and techniques so you can apply them to your own landscape images.
Are presets included?
Yes.
Presets are included as part of the workshop.
They are useful starting points, not a replacement for understanding the edit. The workshop shows you the thinking and techniques behind the finished image, so you are not just applying a preset and hoping it works.
Does the workshop cover exposure blending?
Yes.
You’ll see how I blend multiple exposures cleanly for landscape scenes where the dynamic range is too wide for a single RAW file.
The approach is practical and direct. It is not built around complicated luminosity-mask workflows.
Will this work if I use Capture One or other non-Adobe software?
You’ll still get value from the editing principles, especially tone, colour, dynamic range, depth, contrast, light shaping, and atmosphere.
But the demonstrations are in Lightroom and Photoshop, so if you use different software, you’ll need to translate the tools into your own editor.
How long do I have access?
Lifetime access. No renewals, no expiry.
If I ever stop offering the workshop, I’ll give existing customers download access so you can keep the lessons.
What if the workshop isn't right for me?
If you buy the workshop and genuinely feel it isn’t right for you, email me within 30 days and I’ll refund you in full.
No forms, no justification needed. I’d rather you had the refund than felt stuck with something that wasn’t what you hoped for.
